God knows the truth about you. He knows every nook and cranny of your being. Even though you are not aware of your full capability, He is intimately aware of all that you can do and all you will ever do in this life. He knows your heart through and through. He tells us in Jeremiah 17:10(ESV), “I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.” It is incredibly important for us to know this because the Lord requires us to produce fruit by living life through His Spirit. Many in our world have a sense of entitlement, believing they deserve huge rewards without producing any fruit. That isn’t the way God designed life to work. Adam and Eve showed us what happens when an attitude of entitlement clogs our hearts. They rebelled against walking with God and therefore rejected life in the Spirit. They decided to believe they could successfully live the life God gave them outside His purpose. This was a very big and catastrophic mistake.
John 3:16(NLT) declares, “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” Our loving and all-powerful God saved us through His Son because the Father’s Will is that through Jesus Christ humanity will restore God’s authority in the earth. God is God all by Himself. He can do anything that He wants. He didn’t have to design life to work the way it does, but He has chosen to design things the way they are so that you and I can share in His glory. Therefore, it should be crystal clear to us that God has worked all this out in Christ, and He didn’t need our help to do it. 1Peter 5:10(NLT) tells us, “In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.” God’s Plan is magnificently perfect, and we cannot alter His plan one bit. Whether we accept it or not, living according to God’s plan is the greatest privilege that any human could ever have imagined.
Every day, we are afforded the opportunity to advance in God’s plan for us. The announcement of His goodness through His Word is not farfetched or too good to be true. It is our reality as His sons and daughters in Christ! What King with unlimited treasures, power, blessings, authority and love would withhold the bounty of His wealth from His children? This King is our God, and we are indeed His children. We belong to the Kingdom of the Most High God!
Hebrews 12:28-29(NLT) instructs, “28 Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe. 29 For our God is a devouring fire.” Our God’s jealousy over us burns like fire. This gives us a visual of the intensity of His devotion and love for His children. So, we should approach Him with the knowledge that He is always ready to fully embrace us. He delights when we come to Him with faith in His love, because we belong to His unshakable Kingdom. Every system in the world is unstable and corrupting, but not God’s Kingdom. This is the Kingdom from which we originated, so we shouldn’t try to politely excuse ourselves from the conversation of the spiritual birth that Jesus Christ gave his life to make available.
Our Master Jesus is the spokesperson of the New Testament and the arbitrator of the new covenant that God made possible through the blood Christ shed for us. Talk about celebrating, we should wake up every morning celebrating what God accomplished through His only begotten Son. It is the custom of many cultures to have huge celebrations, some are very festive and enjoyable, and others simply exist to indulge the worst of our sinful nature. We tend to look at celebrations from a very natural perspective, but God is the architect of celebrations and festivals. It started in the Old Testament, and He instructed His people to have various celebrations where they would give thanks to Him and enjoy fellowshipping with one another. He wants us to understand and know that His magnificent, glorious being, who He is and what He has done, is worthy of a celebration morning, noon, day, and night.
1John 4:13(NLT) states, “And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us.” To comprehend, on even the smallest level, how huge 1John 4:13 really is, we need to remind ourselves of the fellowship of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. That’s where His love springs forth. He has made a way for us to be a part of that fellowship by placing His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, inside those who desire to be His kids. Ephesians 1:13 tells us that we are sealed with God’s Spirit, and this is only the down-payment on all that God has in store for us. Becoming born again through the Lord Jesus Christ makes it possible for you and me to fully participate in God’s love. We can live through His pure love every moment of our lives.
The birth of Jesus Christ in the flesh and the mission he was sent to earth to accomplish were commissioned by God. Heavenly Father did this so that we might live through Him in Christ. 1John 4:12(NLT) says, “No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.” Humanity didn’t get a visual of Heavenly Father until Jesus Christ brought Him in full view. Until Christ, God was invisible to everyone, but Christ who is the blueprint of our design also represented our Heavenly Father to us in every way when he walked the earth. Now it’s our turn. As we love through God, our love for Him and one another continues the work of Christ. Colossians 1:19(NLT) tells us, “For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ.” It is beyond wonderful and extraordinary to know that it pleases God also to live in us!■
